The Department of Pharmaceutics is a place where commitment to excellence in academia, research, and development is demonstrated through the productivity and success of our faculty and students. The department provides curricular content in the areas of pharmaceutics, physical pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical microbiology, pharmaceutical engineering, pharmaceutical technology, industrial pharmacy, and biopharmaceutics in the B.Pharm.

The focused research areas of the department at the M.Pharm level are
i) Preformulation studies,
ii) Development of different pharmaceutical dosage forms,
iii) Novel drug delivery systems including computer aided drug vitro parameters,
iv) Studying the biopharmaceutical aspects of the drug as well as its dosage forms delivery system and,
v) Evaluation of developed dosage forms with respect to various in.

The Department of Pharmaceutics has competent, well-qualified, and experienced faculty members, well-equipped laboratories, and adequate industry exposure in order to return to society well-trained pharmacists in the profession of pharmacy. We are committed to the overall development of students with due respect to academics, research experience, value-based education, and discipline.

We have an excellent departmental library equipped not only with textbooks but also with a number of research theses and scientific journals. This facility helps the students to prepare for their projects.
