PROF. DR. CHANCHAL DEEP KAUR, one of the eminent known Pharmacist is currently working as Professor and Principal in Rungta College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Raipur affiliated to CSVTU, Bhilai and managed by Krishna’s Vikash Group. Currently on 5 th September 2023 Nominated as Executive member of Chhattisgarh State Pharmacy Council, Raipur, She is First female member. She has done Ph.D. from University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (C.G.) and B. Pharm (Gold medalist) and M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar (M. P.) and MBA in HR and Production and Management from CSVTU Bhilai

She is recipient of IDMA GP Nair Award 2001 (Sagar University Topper in Pharmacy ), “Pragatisheel Ratna Award” for best teacher in 2008, “Award of Diligence 2014- 2015” for progressive Principal, “Sushikshit Sikh Mahila Award 2015”, “C.G. Gaurav Samman 2019”, By Ramesh Chandra Foundation, “Best Performer Award 2018-19” and “Best Academician Award 2020”, Best Oral Paper Award in International Convention in year 2016, for poster presentation in the year 2014 and 2011 and for Oral Research Paper Presentation in 2018.

Research Accolades:

With 19 years of teaching and research Experience she has completed TEQIP project in Collaboration with Bioinformatics department of CSVTU and three MRP received from CGCOST, Raipur. She has successfully guided 1 DST SERB, New Delhi, National Post-Doctoral Fellow, 72 M. Pharm students and 11 Ph.D. scholars and have 7 PhD students registered under her. In Google Scholar her i10-index is 40. She has delivered 36 invited talks as keynote/eminent speakers in national/international seminar and conferences, has authored 5 books, 8 book chapters and has to her credit 110 publications in national and international journal of repute. She has three utility patents and three design patents granted and 15 patents under process. Her key areas of Research include Targeting approaches, Herbal drug development, NDDS for plant actives, skin cancer, ovarian cancer, autoimmune disorders, oral cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer and lymphatic disorders.

Professional and Social accolades: Nominated as Executive member of Chhattisgarh State Pharmacy Council, has youtube channel # saiedupharmaa with more than 622 videos uploaded. Women Cell C.G Coordinator APTI, Ex Executive Member IPA, New Delhi, Life member of Vigyan Bharti and Shakti CG Branch, President, Shakti, Chhattisgarh Branch, have adopted Village Tekari and doing various activities there
